Experience:
Over the past 29 years as his business has developed, Gene’s fields of expertise have evolved to include Real Estate investment in commercial properties, multi-family/ apartment units, medical office space, rental properties and second homes from the Willamette Valley to the Central Oregon area of Bend and Redmond. In addition to his own personal experience with commercial and investment properties, Gene’s comprehensive understanding of the IRC 1031 Exchange process provides his customers with valuable tools for real estate planning.
Real Estate Owned (REO):
As real estate markets ebb and flow Gene has assisted numerous financial institutions in working through special asset loans and reo properties. He provides current market data for local markets, identifies local real estate brokers for the property, coordinates repairs and maintenance and oversees the sale and closing of each transaction. He has experience in all types of real estate including development land, new construction and resale properties.
Land Development:
Gene’s professional expertise in land development and new construction has helped area developers and builders in both western and central Oregon make sound business decisions in both the commercial and residential markets.
Gene works extensively with area land developers and builders in Linn, Benton and Deschutes Counties by spearheading highly successful marketing and sales programs to promote new construction. Over the past decade, his expertise has supported quality subdivisions in the mid-Willamette Valley, including Willamette Landing, Fairway View Estates, Grand Oaks, Pinot Gris Estate, Highland Dell Estates, Cascade View Estates, and Deschutes Landing in the Old Mill District.
Corporate Relocation:
A nationally recognized specialist in relocation and corporate transfers, Gene has assisted transferees from local, national and international companies through their corporate relocation procedures as they successfully move families to and from the mid-valley area. As a guest panelist at national relocation conventions, and a member of the National Employee Relocation Council, Gene has also served as a member of the President’s Advisory Council for Relocation Resources International, a major relocation company.
Community Involvement:
Making time to volunteer in the local community is a priority for Gene as a past member of Trillium Family Services Board of Directors, past president of Benton Hospice Service, past board member of Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, past board member of United Way and past president of Corvallis Ambassadors.
Family:
Gene and his wife Cande, have four grown children and four grandchildren. He and Cande enjoy travel, hiking and boating in their leisure time.
